Matt has lived his entire life in the quad city area. He graduated from Moline High School in 2002. From there he went on to Iowa State University in Ames IA to receive a Business Management degree in 2007. During two years of college he managed several crews under the franchise of College Pro Painters. Those responsibilities included estimating, doing the bookkeeping, and scheduling work for several crews. He was successful in producing approximately $100,000 in business over the two summers he was involved in that program.
Matt was in a restaurant management role for two years before deciding to pursue a career in real estate. Early in 2010 he joined his grandfather, Dale Godwin, at Good Day Realty, Moline IL.
